Yves Rocher - Czas na Las z Aeris Futuro

We are planting as part of the Time for the Forest project during Fall 2017

On the hills of Kluszkowce community in Maniowy municipality just above the surface of Czorsztyńskie Lake, on the so-called Pusta Góra (Empty Mountain) , on an area covering 5,5 hectares, 30 950 seedlings were planted, including: 12,800 Scots pine, 3 075 spruce, 3 075 birch and 12 000 European larch.

The course of spring 2017

In partnership with the Yves Rocher Foundation and Stołowe Mountains National Park, 14 970 trees (mainly beech, fir, sycamore, rowan) were planted in the area of the Szczeliniec Conservation District and Red Water in May 2017, as part of the “Time for the Forest – For a Beautiful Cause” project. The action involved members of the Aeris Futuro Foundation, as well as local authorities and the community. Thanks to this assistance, species compatible with the habitat have been introduced into more areas of spruce monocultures.

What we planted as part of the project in 2015-2016

In the Sędziszów commune, afforestation involved areas near the communal landfill, where a total of 50,000 trees were planted (35,000 in 2015 and 15,000 in 2016). On November 4, the last tree planting action took place in Borszowice. The action was attended by young people from the Sędziszów High School Complex, representatives of the local government with Mr. Mayor Wacław Szarek, during which 500 trees were planted, including common maple, sycamore, hawthorn, oak, rowan, linden, blackthorn.
