Ecological workshops during the festival in the Bledowska Desert

Last weekend we had the extraordinary pleasure of participating in the LAW OF THE DESERT Festival, which took place in the Bledowska Desert – the largest desert in Europe. This unique event, which harmoniously combines art, music and ecology, was a unique experience for our Foundation. As a partner of the festival, we supported the organizers with our expertise in organizing green events to make the event as ecological as possible.

Ecological workshops during the festival

During the festival, we conducted 3 ecological workshops. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about ecology and actively participate in various activities:

  • “Jestem na pTAK”. A workshop on birds, where participants were able to learn interesting facts about birds, their role in shaping biodiversity and build nesting boxes. It was a great experience for both children and adults who wanted to contribute to bird conservation.
  • Ecosystem in a jar or forest in a jar. During the workshop, participants learned how an ecosystem works and the importance of the role of water in it. Everyone was able to create their own miniature forest in a jar.
  • Kokedama Workshop. Kokedama are beautiful hanging plant compositions that participants could prepare on their own. This is not only a decorative element, but also an opportunity for creative expression in a festival atmosphere.

Green Events

More and more participants in various types of events are paying attention to environmental aspects, which shows the growing environmental awareness in society. Green Events are those that minimize their negative impact on the environment. For an event to be considered green, several key elements must be considered, such as transportation, catering, choice of location, communication and promotion of the event, management of energy, waste and water. Our Foundation analyzes each of these aspects in detail, creating recommendations for environmentally friendly solutions recorded as a Green Standard.

Csángó music

During the festival, our chang team made time pleasant for visitors to the desert, playing gentle music on the violin and kobo lute. Our concerts were held unplugged, without a sound system, allowing us to fully harmonize with the surrounding nature. The traditional music of the Csángó peoples blended perfectly with the desert landscape, creating an unforgettable experience.

Green events are not only more environmentally friendly, but also inspire us to take care of the planet on a daily basis.

Thank you Desert Law for inviting us and promoting green solutions during the festival. See you at future green events!
